Matt's story

The attacks of September 11th, 2001 happened when I was a senior in high school, and I wanted to do something about it. My parents convinced me that college is a great way to get from 18-22 years old.

After graduating I raised my hand three times, once for the Navy, once for the SEALs, and again for the combat medic program.

After a couple of deployments, I had seen enough. Addled with Post Traumatic Stress, avoiding my military network, lacking confidence, and so many years away from school I was blissfully unaware of how arduous the transition process could be.

I moved on to supporting my wife through her dream of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Then I was able to go back to school and walked away with a Master of Business and a Master of Accounting. I landed a position at a global accounting firm designing and building process automations before pursuing coaching.

My transition process took many years longer than it should have and it has left me saying, "There has to be a better way."

Through nearly 10 years of reintegration, the collected lessons are compiled into a concise course to build a bridge between worlds.
